Thanks John, for all the Memories

It is with the deep saddness and sympathy that we mourn the passing one of the last of the greats of the concertina world. John Bernhardt passed away this week after a short illness, he will be sadly missed by the concertina world as a whole the void that he leaves is immense. He never knew a stranger, told excellent stories in a way only he could, and was always willing to share his knowledge freely with anyone who took an intrest.

Please hold Barb Bernhardt and the the rest of the Bernhardt Family in your thoughts and prayers during this time and in the months ahead.

At John's request their will be no public veiwing or funeral services. John simply asked that we all remember him as he was when we knew him and for all the dedication he gave to the concertina as an instrument and it's players.

Please take a moment and reflect on the life of this great man, and how he may have toucched your life along the way. Sleep well dear freind you will be sorely missed
